about Phthalates free inks

Phthalates in plastisol inks are harmful
We supply inks that are totally free of phthalates: and not just the six ones forbidden by the Reach norms.
According to INDIPENDENT studies (and NOT studies made by producers of phthalates) phthalates are hazardous. They can migrate from the inks to the body through skin absorption.
Reach norm (for UK operators too) includes norms about phthalates.
Phthalates are in some plastisol inks because for some manufacturers they are a very cheap raw material and give a strong flexibility and fast curing time to the plastisol inks.
Reach norm has forbidden the use of phthalates in all of Europe, including the UK, from June 2008 and from February 2009 they will also be forbidden in USA.

Here is just a short updated list of INDIPENDENT and public studies and sources regarding phthalates.

Do you still use inks with phthalates ?!
